Why I love Pinterest oh-so-much!

As you know, it’s summertime for me. Summer encompasses lots of swimming, relaxing, spending time with friends and family, baking, sleeping, drinking lemonade… and Pinterest. Lots and lots of Pinterest. I don’t know if it’s the baker in me or the creative art girl that wants to do every DIY ever created, I just love it! Here are my top three reasons for why I adore Pinterest oh-so-much.

1. Happy Atmosphere – The atmosphere of Pinterest is probably my most favorite thing about it. Unlike other social media outlets that can be flooded with negativity and jealousy, Pinterest is a breath of fresh air. It’s a happy, creative space that you can choose to fill with ideas that spark your interest and that make you feel good. No selfie envy, no mean tweets, just yummy food and awesome ideas.

2. It Never Ends – If you’re a Pinterest fanatic like me, I think we can both agree that there literally is NO end to it. There are Pins upon Pins of amazing things. You can find 100 different chocolate chip cookie recipes and then click a link to 200 more. You can discover new Pinners to follow and share ideas with your friends. To me, Pinterest is such a benefit to real life because if you see a really cute painted wood sign in Pier 1 Imports but you think that you could make it yourself, you can look up “DIY painted wood signs” on Pinterest and boom! You’re now a do-it-yourself princess and you saved some cash.

3. Constantly Inspired – I think I’ve made my point on this one. Once you log onto the website, you can scroll through and go, “Ooh, I want to make that!” or “Yum, that sounds like an amazing recipe!” Add them to your boards and even if you don’t make them that day, you have a great source to refer back to whenever you want. Say goodbye cookbooks, hello Pinterest!

If you’ve never been on Pinterest, I highly recommend it. If you’re Pinterest-crazy like I am, just keep pinning. I think we’re making the world a better place, one creative click at a time. 🙂
